New antiviral drug - cure for everything from 'the common cold to HIV'?

An article in the Daily Mail claims that scientists may have found a cure for the  common cold, flu, HIV –  and almost any other virus you can think of.

The new drug, known as DRACO targets viral RNA and results in the death of any cells infected with the virus. Scientists hope that it will ultimately  be of use in any number of RNA virus infections including colds, flu and HIV.
